Before arriving at Georgetown University, I completed a RAPIDD postdoctoral fellowship at the CIDD at Penn State University and the Fogarty International Center at NIH, under the mentorship of Professor Bryan Grenfell. I completed my Ph.D at the University of Texas at Austin from the Computational and Applied Mathematics (CAM) graduate program (now known as the CSEM program) in 2008 and was advised by Professor Lauren Ancel Meyers.

My undergraduate degrees are in Mathematics and Computer Science from Santa Clara University.

My Erdös number is 5 (through Lauren Meyers -> Mark Nemwan -> Mike Molloy), although I do strive to lower it (and beat my husband!)
