I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Research and Policy for Infectious Disease Dynamics (RAPIDD) Program of the NIH and the DHS; and a Huck Fellow with the Center for Infectious Disease Dynamics at Penn State University. I am mentored by Professor Bryan Grenfell.

In Summer 2012, I will be joining the faculty of the Department of Biology at Georgetown University.

I am trained as an interdisciplinary applied and computational mathematician, and my research is focused on the network modeling of host contact patterns and pathogen dynamics for infectious disease ecology, epidemiology and public/animal health problems.
